It is my utmost desire to live in such a way that I honor Jesus Christ in every area of my life and live by the Christian principles which I was taught early in my life.
This is illustrated and reflected in my attitude and approach toward relationships and how I value people.
Studies indicate that people in society today have a deep desire to build strong connections.
Therefore, relationships are paramount in my life. I value people for the character of their heart as well as the conduct of their humanity.

I was born on August 31, 1966 in Dallas, Texas.

One of the greatest blessings of my life began when I married Shelly Renee (Reed) Rogers (12-6-1966) on January 9, 1988.

Through some difficult and dynamic series of events, God blessed us with children. Following God’s leading and direction for our family, we became licensed Foster & Adoptive Parents with the State of Texas Department of Family Protective Services. We maintained our license and remained an active foster family for ten years (1996-2005). During this time, our lives were richly blessed by the addition to our family of four sons (three by adoption, one by birth) and one daughter (by birth). Through God’s grace, our family now includes Austin Ryan (11-5-95), Casey Scott (7-22-98), Nathan Nicholas (7-26-2001), Sean Anthony (2-22-2004) & Lauren Nicole (6-15-05). Life at the Rogers’ home can be described in many ways: busy, blessed, bustling, and bountiful but never boring! Thus, In order of significance, I am a Christian by God’s grace, a husband and a father by God’s gift and a Pastor by God’s guidance.

Professionally, I am passionate about people and relationships. Additionally, because of the impact it made on our life, we are active in promoting the need for strong families to become licensed foster and adoptive homes. Personally, I am an extrovert; finding great joy in spending time with my family and friends.
