For over thirty-five years I have been unleashing people for mission and ministry through the proclamation and teaching of God's Word, pastoral leadership and missional involvement. I have served a number of churches in the Western States of the US and one in Australia. I have preached in 14 countries around the globe and on six continents. Each of these experiences have provided numerous opportunities to preach, lead, teach, mentor and care for others. I can offer my spiritual gifts, skills, integrity and abilities to you in terms of both academic training and practical ministry experience.

- • Demonstrated effective leadership to church, including managing daily operations, developing and administering annual budget and promoting compassionate pastoral care to members and public.

01/2018 - Current: Bear Valley Church - Lakewood, ColoradoCoordinate total church missions program which includes partnering with forty-seven Mission Partners, representing nineteen countries. Work with church leaders, staff and ministry teams to achieve local, regional and international missions projects, active long-term partnerships, short-term mission trips, engage members of the congregation in various missions activities, lead in prayer and care for all mission partners, and lead the Move the World Team which has given close to 2.5 million dollars in missions grants since 2002.

07/2018 - 06/2020: Bear Valley Church - Lakewood, ColoradoLed church as one of three transitional pastors who together accomplished the role of Transitional Lead Pastor. Regular preaching, leading teams, working with the Board to strategize a seamless movement from one permanent Lead Pastor to another.

01/2017 - 12/2017: Bear Valley Church - Lakewood, ColoradoAssumed point leadership of the Senior Adult Ministries along with all other previously assigned duties during a time of staff departure and transition. Responsibilities included weekly preaching/teaching ministry, pastoral staff oversight, and vision casting and leadership of local, national and international mission and ministry endeavors.
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
09/2003 - 06/2008: Southwest Community Church - Littleton, COProvided pastoral oversight, direction and coordination of the church's educational ministries, young adult ministries, congregational care ministries, men's ministries and compassion ministries. Responsibilities included weekly teaching/preaching to young adults, leadership development, pastoral care, spiritual direction and administrative supervision of more than two hundred lay leaders. Reinvented young adult community groups and worship service, restructured church's college ministry and created a church-wide compassion ministry pertaining to adoption, the developmentally disabled, prison outreach, pregnancy centers and urban ministry partnerships.

07/1999 - 08/2003: University Hills Baptist Church - Denver, COLed this declining urban congregation towards fulfillment of a vision to bring glory to God by leading people from all walks of life to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through intentional focus on compassion and caring outreach, area-wide food and clothing ministry, innovative worship, global/local missions, practical ministries and servant evangelism resulting in increased life-transformation and kingdom growth.

07/1991 - 07/1999: Ascent Church - Evergreen, COLed this mountain church towards the fulfillment of a unique vision of unleashing disciples for kingdom service through emphasis on individual ministry gifting and potential, intentional focus on reaching individuals and families through contemporary and innovative ministry approaches, including narrative preaching and teaching, global/local missions and multiple laity-led ministries resulting in a growth rate of nearly two hundred percent which created the need for an extensive building renovation and remodel.
