I have been serving as a missionary in Thailand for the past 10 years. From an evangelist become a preacher, then a Church Planter and finally started a refugee ministry. I believe that everyone should be equipped with the Word of God and encourage the refugees to walk firmly with the Lord, so that they are ready to share the gospel when they are resettle in the third country. With the Master's of Arts of Ministry, I would like to further my study in the Doctorate of Ministry, as well using what I learn from Lucent University to be the stepping ground to create more training program to teach the Church leaders in South East Asia.

God called me into the ministry to stand with my husband as a co-pastor to pastor JICC. Before I joined Lucent University, I was so much afraid to stand and minister in the church. I am a leader in the church, and an evangelist with zeal to serve God. My senior pastor gave me a chance to study at Lucent University. God called me in the ministry some years back and this is the first time I am able to study his word. I did not have any information on evangelism. Through Lucent I am able to understand the best way to evangelize and the art of preaching. When I graduate, I will use my degree to be a blessing to many other evangelists.

I decided to Join Bible school due to a few reasons, I felt God calling me to learn more of Him and be able to be confident in the word. I felt the Holy Spirit pushing me because He has bigger plans for me which I do not know, so this was a step a had to take in trusting God that He is leasing me. I have encountered a few situations where I had to encourage someone or preach to them but I would get stuck, so I thought why not increase my knowledge as well. With my Degree, I plan to start a YouTube channel and blog, where I will be sharing the Word of God with the youth, and also sharing my experiences and walk with Christ. I was a youth with no biblical knowledge to serve but by the grace of God I was able to get Bible training which helped me so much, but when Lucent University was introduced to me by a friend, a father figure professor James Walters I had better understand on Christian theology, biblically Christianity and evangelism. As a pastor through Lucent University, I am able to understand what it means to be an evangelist. Another area Lucent University has changed my life is expository preaching. Calvary Greetings! My names are Donald Munachoonga; I was born on 5th October 1979. I am coming from a humble family. I am the fifth born of nine children. We are seven surviving children. My father went to be with the Lord in 2006. My life was not easy from my childhood. I survived on one meal per day and sometimes there was no food for the entire family. I am happily married to a God-fearing woman and we have two children. She is my co-worker in ministry. My ministry is full of challenges and joys. God called me into ministry while I was still young. In my tenth grade, teachers and my fellow pupils at that time started noticing and confirming that I was called into ministry. My future plan with my master’s degree from Lucent University are as follows: - The degree will help me continue with my studies to the high levels. - My knowledge will be enriched, and I will be able to effectively equip other ministers of the gospel. - The degree will make me remain relevant in the ministry and also in the world of knowledge.
