Support Christian education worldwide by donating your used or new computer equipment to Lucent University.
We welcome donations of the following types of equipment in good working condition.
Nonprofit organizations are great recipients of your used equipment. They often need to prioritize their budgets for programs rather than new technology. That said, there's typically a ten-year limit on the age of accepted equipment.
Your computer equipment donation is tax deductible and will be used to expand the Kingdom. Donated equipment will be used internally, sent to other countries for study centers, or converted to fund student tuitions for those who can't afford it.
We delete all information when we power on the computers and devices you donated. However, if you prefer to do it yourself, below you will find instructions on how to clear your device.
Windows 10 has an automated feature called Reset this PC, which restores it to factory settings and clears all user data. In earlier versions, user data can be deleted by removing user accounts along with their data.
Before cleaning a Mac, you need to log out of all Apple services (iCloud, iTunes, iMessage, etc.) and delete all users. You may also want to reinstall macOS to clear everything and perform a proper factory reset.
The easiest way to factory reset your Android phone is through the Settings menu. Find the Backup & Reset option — the exact location may vary by device, but the process is straightforward.
A factory restore erases all information and settings on your iOS device. Be sure to log out of your Apple ID and turn off Find My Phone before wiping the device.
